TIAS’ comprehensive technical resources have extensive expertise in travel technology. Three key technical divisions, Product Development, Quality Assurance and Operations ensure all new developments are built, tested and deployed using the most appropriate and up to date technologies, in the most effective and efficient manner.
Twenty-four hour round the clock monitoring and redundancy in hardware and software ensure high availability of all systems.
To ensure that orderly, rigorous and disciplined software development and implementation practices are followed, TIAS has developed an in-house development process to accommodate the unique nature of travel projects. This process involves cross-functional participants from both IT and Commercial groups. The process also supports the iterative and incremental development approach needed to deliver complex projects.
TIAS is also a member of OTA (the Open Travel Alliance - www.opentravel.org), which is working, together with major airlines, leisure suppliers, travel agencies and Global Distribution Systems, to create industry-wide, open e-business specifications. These specifications form a common e-business standard that encourages system development that will create new collections of services to better meet the demands and expectations of travellers and the travel industry. TIAS' position as an independent technology and service provider puts the company in an ideal position to incorporate OTA specifications into the Integrator architecture.
